We hope that you all have been staying cool through the hot summer days. LEEP has been HOT!! We have a lot going on right now with upcoming events and growing fast.

Ian has been very busy with meeting new people and collaberating with businesses. Ian has gotten together with ChasDoc to prepare for the upcoming Kayak Expedition!! Justin from ChasDoc has decided to work with LEEP and complete the documentary for the expedition. He is just as excited as Ian is with this tour.

We have also been busy with learning more and more about Bio-diesel. Ian and some others have gotten together and are planning to change the bus to a bio-bus. This will be wonderful for students as they will be able to see and understand more about alternative energy.

Ian has also been busy working with various schools in the community. He has worked with James Is. Parks completing a program with the kids in a day camp. Ian also went to Holly Hill as a request from a teacher that heard about LEEP. There is was able to teach the children in a day care about the environment. That was a successful day for all.

Ian has also worked and collaborated with Earthfare, Noisette and Blackbaud. He has taken several kayak tours and Bull Is. tours with the staff from all of these companies. These companies are also assisting LEEP by donating time and support for us.

  • August 5th LEEP Rummage Sale at LEEP office 445 Folly Rd. Charleston From 8am to 12pm
  • August 26th LEEP Car Wash from 10am to 2pm at LEEP office.
  • September 10th LEEPs 7th annual Bowenstock stay tuned for more info.
