Whew- this week has flown by!! Ian has been busy again with getting LEEP moving. He has met with Heather Rain and Sarah McCrary to discuss the City Stormwater Education class. He has also been meeting with Justin Natanson from ChasDocs in order to get the Kayak tour going. The kayak tour “What is Water?” is a kayak trip from the mountains to the sea. The documentary will be used to teach the students about SC watersheds and also show the beauty of SC natural environment.
LEEP was also mentioned in the Newpaper “Natural Awakenings.” They did an article on Justin Nathanson from ChasDocs with his upcoming film festival in Oct.
LEEP has also just recieved news that we have a new Advisory Board member. Mayor Joe Riley has accepted a position on our Board. We at LEEP are honored that he has choosen LEEP. Welcome Mayor Riley.
LEEP has also just been informed that Mr. Robert Bowen owner of Bowens Restaurant and who is running for Lt. Gov. in SC has offered to help LEEP by supporting us and is willing to go the extra mile for LEEP. Thank you Mr. Bowen.
Ian has also been busy working on the Bio-diesel reactor and building up relations to begin a co-op.

We have also been busy working on proposals, grants and updating information. Ian continues to work on getting the community involved. We will have an upcoming article in the “Natural Awakenings” paper in the couple months. Please pick up your copy and check it out.
