Hello all

This again has been another busy week for LEEP. First of all the LEEP yard sale was a great success!! We want to thank Sandra, Mario, Chris, Lucy, Toni and everyone else for making the day a success for LEEP.

Ian has been busy this week as usual. He has attended KIT training classes. Here he met a lot of teachers who shared their challenges they face. Ian also learned how LEEP can help with those challenges by offering our classes to fit into the teachers curriculum. LEEP also recieved a great testimonial during the training from a teacher who has been through the LEEP classes.

Andy Cowen who is a science administrator and the KIT trainer for Charleston Co. schools will also be assisting LEEP by helping us design our curriculum for the schools. Welcome Andy , and we thank you for your assistance with LEEP.

Ian informed me yesterday that we now have the LEEP Bus title in our hands. This is great news as we can now get started on painting the bus and getting it ready to roll!! We are looking for sponsors to assist with the bus. If you or you know of anyone that would like to help out please have them call 800-732-9625.

We are in need of volunteers that can help us out in the office. We also need volunteers to help with grant writing. If you might be interested in helping or know of someone that can help please call us at 800-732-9625.

Ian has been working in the office and out in the field for LEEP almost daily. He is putting in a lot of productive hours getting ready for the upcoming school year. We are working on the proposals for the Water Cycle classes, Kayak tour, LEEP Bus and sponsorship packages for LEEP as well.

LEEP is now offering Sunrise Kayak tours with groups of 10 or more. The minimum donation we are requesting is 58.00 a person. We are quite excited about this as all proceeds will go to LEEP!! If you are interested in signing up please call 800-732-9625.

Dont forget about LEEP’s car wash coming up on August 19th at the LEEP office located at 445 Folly Rd. Proceeds will go to LEEP. Bowenstock is also coming up fast. We are looking forward to a lot of fun and good times this year.
