We are moving really fast these days. Bowenstock is just around the corner. If you want advanced tickets please call 800-732-9625. The Bowenstock board met last week. Everyone seems to be on target and getting geared up. The posters are out, press releases have been sent. The board has the bands lined up and food and beer are set. Sounds like a great time to me!! Bowenstock is Sept 10th at Bowens Island!!

We have gotten a lot of responses to some ads that were put out for volunteers. We are looking forward to working with all the new volunteers for grant writing, editing, fundraising and help with classes.

Ian and Andy are getting the teachers manual ready for the classes as well. They both have put in a lot of hours getting this ready. Ian has met with Tammy who is the Science Liason with the schools to get the standards ready to go. Tammy has also helped by getting the word out about LEEP to teachers in the area. Thank you Tammy we appreciate you hard work as well. We have booked several classes and ready to book some more!!

Ian, Kahn, Brooks. Mario and others have been working on the bus. They have sanded and primed getting it ready for the painting now. We are looking forward to see the bus completed with new paint and logo’s. If you are interested in having your logo on the bus please call 800-732-9625 for info on getting your logo put on the bus.

Ian met with Charleston City Storm Drain office. Heather and Sarah have shown Ian the model they are going to use in teaching the class for LEEP. Thank you both Heather and Sarah for all of your hard work.

Ian met with The Nature Conservancy on Wed. He was pleased with the meeting and stated that this will be another great relationship!! We welcome them to LEEP.
