The Sun Comes Out and we hit the Middle Saluda
After some rain delays we were able to really cover some ground on the river today. We paddled the Middle Saluda through the mountains, reached the Piedmont and got into the farmland of Greenville county.  Before we left the mountains we were able to take a side-trip hike to gather footage at Rainbow Falls in Jones Gap State Park. Jones Gap is one of the southeast’s wilderness gems with abundant fish & wildlife including native born wild trout. People forget we have the Blue Ridge Mountains in SC!
